Newpoli in concert. We are very happy to be playing at Dante Alighieri as a part of the Italian Heritage month. Watch out for our upcoming CD. It should be available in stores around the end of October.

I'm very happy to announce un upcoming Newpoli concert! Unfortunately it will be not be the whole band, just seven of us, but still full of energy!
Please, keep checking for future shows futuring all nine of us.
We are working hard to get our CD out and hopefully we will be announcing a Cd release party sometime this summer!

02.21.07 | Carmen Marsico & Björn Wennås Quartet at Sagra in Somerville. -- Starting 2/28 at 7:30pm
Björn and I will start to perform at a new venue right in Somerville called Sagra and we'll take this opportunity to bring in some musicians that we don't get to work to often with. We will feature Roberto Cassan on Accordion and Bronek Suchanek on Bass and we will do an eclectic mix of Italian tunes and Brazilian as well as some Jazz Standards. Please come out and listen, no cover!
Hopefully this will turn out to be a regular gig, please come out and support live music!

We are happy to announce our next performance with the Septet. Please come out and join us for our upcomming performance in Lexington.
We will be performing original compositions by me and Björn as well as some very old italian songs arranged for the group. Additionally, we will also be performing songs by Tom Harrell and Brazilian composer Jovino Santos Neto.
